Check how we managed to house a big central palletisation system in a relatively constricted space

Central palletisation system:

Thanks to the use of VR technology and laser space imaging in the project, it was already at the design stage that we were able to verify not only if the space available was sufficient to house the entire system, but also if it was ergonomically sufficient as regards future exploitation and maintenance

Palletization carried out on the surface of 21×10 meters included:

Picking stations
10 completion stations receiving 10 various types of the product, which were delivered at the same time from 7 production areas.

Robot cells
3 robots capable of palletizing 8 various types of bulk packagings of different formats which were to be placed on the pallets up to 2,7 meters due to using jacks equipped with baluns.

Pallet transport
4 pallet magazines, 40 roller conveyors, 12 roller – chain conveyors and 1 transfer car.

Product transfer
Transport system of 400 meters total, including aggregations, separations, rotation and sorting.

Robotization of the packaging process enabled to reduce 36 operator posts working in the packaging area.
